Patchwork Slouch Bag
Each slouch bag has been patched together with recycled batiked ceremonial cloths. Batik is a cloth that traditionally is produced by manually applying a wax design to the fabric, then the fabric is dipped in dye, the wax is then removed and a very beautiful intricate design is revealed.
Batiked clothes are still used today in ceremonies ranging from welcoming a new baby to the world to when people gather at the beach to throw their problems into the sea.
No two fabrics are alike- so it really is a unique piece of art. Multiple Colors Available. Note which is preferred.
