"The greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it.”
- Roald Dahl

The Poem

May I remember
the faithful earth,
steadfast flax and foxgloves
that grow in rock, untended.
Mornings I wake
and am held, the unshaken hand
of the day weaving
every grace
in a soft dress. I will put it on
and go out.
May I arrive again and again
wherever you are.

How to Wear

There’s a hush of enchantment in this duster — as if you’ve stumbled upon a forgotten page in an old storybook, still shimmering with wonder! The rich colour palette makes it delightfully easy to mix and match with your existing wardrobe. For everyday wanderings, we love it with a terracotta tank, soft denim, and simple flats — an effortless look where comfort meets charm. Or layer it over a fine knit tank and linen trousers in moss, mustard, or rust, add a cozy wool hat and a worn leather crossbody for that perfectly undone, bohemian feel. When the evenings call for a little drama, drape it over a silky slip dress in deep forest green or burnished gold, finish with heeled boots and vintage accessories that glimmer like fireflies. And for the dreamers, lean into whimsy with round eyewear, a velvet or silk scarf and stacks of rings — letting the woodland creatures keep you company as you wander, wild-hearted, through your own little fairytale.

Our Muse / Inspiration

The guardian, the woodland soul. Women who see the magic in hidden places, who shelter the small and protect the gentle. Women who know that love is the oldest wisdom of the woods.

More Inspo

Throughout history and folklore, tales of unlikely friendship have carried the quiet wisdom of the woods. In Aesop’s fables, a lion spares a trembling mouse who later frees him from a hunter’s net; in Celtic lore, a wren rides upon an eagle’s back to see the world from the heavens. These stories remind us that strength and gentleness are not opposites, but companions. The fox and the pheasant in Woodland Wisdom share this same truth — that compassion defies instinct, and love can take root even where it isn’t expected to grow. Beneath the moonlit trees, their kinship becomes a lesson for us all: when we move through the world with tenderness, we make it safe for wonder to return.
